The MIPS® Software Toolkit consists of the MIPS® SDE GNU based toolchain, MIPSsim(TM) Instruction Set Simulator, MIPS® DSP Library and technical support. These tools are licensed for Windows, Linux and Solaris operating systems.

MIPS Technologies is actively participating in the development of the Open Source tools to support customers and 3rd party vendors in creating value added solutions. For information on GNU tools and open source license please visit www.fsf.org.

The MIPS Software Toolkit is a fully supported package, for 1 year from date of purchase. Optional extended support contracts are available for multiple seats and/or additional years.
